Dazed and Confused

To paraphrase Led Zeppelin, “Been dazed and confused for so long, it’s not true…”.  Clinton’s starting to install the new water maker, a new Espar heating system is being shipped from Canada and needs to be installed, Sandy’s back up to hunt down some last minute gremlins with our satellite internet connection, the press is starting to get the word that we’re soon to be off, “58 Harrison Lane” screening at The Newport International Film Festival, June 7th, panel discussion for same June 6th – my birthday, toe still hurts like hell, Dominique is starting to load 150 days worth of three meals for five people, still fighting the tax audit from hell, discussing audio problems and costs with Ulli in L.A. – everyone’s extremely excited that he’s going to be coming along -  trying to arrange for my life to run smoothly by itself for the five months I’m to be gone… and we leave in 12 days…  Did I mention the part about no sleep?
